The Cosmic Trinity ( Tian, Di, Ren)
Tian means Heaven - The Chinese saying says: All things are predestined by heaven, who and what you are today is heaven's will, it is difficult to change this because it has also to do with our pass Karma. We cannot change our heritage, our history and who we are.
Di means Earth - Changing the environment around us or living in a good environment can help improve our luck further. Fengshui is one of those things which can help make life better.
Ren means People - A lot depends on us individual, we have the choice to make a decision, when we make a right choice we almost always have good results but if we made a wrong choice we will have to face the consequences of our decision. At the end it will add up to our Karmic evolution. So keep in mind to always do good and never ignite rivalry among your friends and business associates because for each time you do something bad to others it will backfire to you by three folds.
Our life is a photocopy of our parents, we are just following exactly what they are doing. Unless we change and stop any negativity, it will continue to go down thru generations. Looking at our children is looking at ourselves, if you do not like or think that they are doing something wrong then we should start changing our attitude first.
Do not point the finger at others as three other fingers are already pointing at you. Take the initiative to make a right move and not wait till you're being told before you will do something. It is the same in Fengshui, if you wait till something bad happens and then try to salvage the situation, it is almost always too late. Procrastination breeds laziness and produces negative results.

Represents the youngest son
Since February 4th 2004, the world has entered into a new period of the lower period cycle which is Period 8. This Period will start from February 4th 2004 to February 4th 2024 and it lasts for 20 years.
In Period 7 where the trigram Tui reigns supreme and where the number 7 signifies great wealth during the last 20 years are now having the opposite effects. Where the number 7 or double period star was in the facing palace or once in either the bedroom or living area of the house will now have detrimental effects because of the end of its cycle thus losing the good Chi it has once given .Come February 4th 2004 the Chi of Period 7 will immediately loose all its positive effect.
Where once the activation of the sectors with auspicious symbols may now be using a cure instead , therefore its is very important to take note of all the flying stars of the house of Period 7 and apply cures if you cannot change your homes to the new period.
In order to tap or change your homes to Period 8 , there are a few things which we can do but we must look into all aspects and whether or not to make the change and tap into the new period based on your present flying star of your Period 7 houses.
In order to be considered tapping into Period 8 you must renovate your existing house by partial changing of the Roof and Flooring as well as the main doors. This will bring in fresh Chi to the house.
Coat your house with a new paint facelift.
For HDB and Apartment dwellers, it is difficult to change main doors or relocate a better facing direction, in such a scenario check to see if the Flying Stars of Period 7 is better than that of Period 8. If so , you might want to remain it as a Period 7 house and monitor the situation for the next one or two years. You might want to tap into Period 8 after that and then conform to the layouts of the new chart by relocating the sectors which you are presently occupying.
If the Period 8 chart of your house is not good at all, either conform to the new chart and accept certain compromise or better still move to a new apartment/house where the flying stars for the new period is better.
For HDB Flat owners in Singapore be aware of the situation when the building you are staying is being upgraded by the management or developers. This can also be considered a change of Period when it happens. We are part of the building and must take into considerations about the change if any and pay attention to the details before doing any analysis.
Kitchen Woes
Never buy a house whose kitchen is at the NW of the whole house. This is because NW represents the Patriarch, he will have financial difficulties and his mentor luck would be badly affected. Toilets and Storerooms at the NW are also bad.
Cures - Use a 5 rod all metal solid wind chime and a large boulder.
Never buy a house whose kitchen is at the SW of the whole house. This is because SW represents the Matriarch. Any house having this sector at the SW would face much family problems which can lead to the separation of the family. Toilets and Storerooms at the SW are also bad.
Water and Living Plants
No water or living plants should be in any sleeping quarters, this would bring bad luck. Water feature on the right side of the main door (looking outwards from inside of house) is not recommended as this would cause third party involvement of a married couple. No paintings of water should be above your head and it is very bad to have your ceiling painted with clouds.
If however the water star 8 is on the right hand side of the house(standing inside of house looking outwards), tie an amethyst geode to the leg of your bed and activate your SW with mandarin ducks.
Keeping all your Plants healthy in your garden or inside the house is a good way of bringing in fresh energy. It is very important that all your plants should look strong and healthy. Any dying plants or withering flowers should be trimmed or replaced. Always keep your plants in tip top condition.
Water in an aquarium should be changed frequently but be cautious when you have fish in them as drastic water changes can lead to PH level changes which can kill your fish. The important aspect here is to keep the filter clogged free and have clean water running at all times. Invest in a good filtration system.
Keeping Fishes
Fishes are best kept in groups of nine that is if you're keeping Goldfish or Carps. There should be one black and 8 reds or colored. Any multi colored fishes are fine.
Fishes like guppies, neon tetras , gold or red arrowana are all popular . If you have to keep predatory fishes , it is best not to feed them live fishes as this suggest killing Chi.
Space Clearing
Any premises would have negative energy some time along the way. Things like stress, illness and family squabbles are part of our daily lives . In the event of a demise of a family member also produces Yin energy.
This is where the Singing Bowl comes into action. There are different types of Singing Bowl available these days, my personal preference is the type made from pure silica which is then molded into a bowl and tuned. This type of silica Singing Bowl aka known as the Crystal Singing Bowl has one of the best vibes, its Singing capability is so refine that it leaves its hum right till the very end. "Stirring" the special leather stick in a clockwise motion till you hit the right resonance is preferred, then slowly allow it to fade naturally. Repeat the process till you feel a sense of lightness in the atmosphere.
Do this procedure at least three times a week to Space Clear all departments of your premises. This is one of the fastest way to rid negative energy and convert negative energy into good fresh energy.
Using of Frankincense or other fragrant incense for space clearing together with the Singing Bowl is recommended.
De-Cluttering
The most basic and important thing to do is to de-clutter. De-cluttering for example is to make sure that all your files or documents are kept neatly in a cabinet. Having your work desk cluttered with your daily office stuff can double or triple your workload; you will also face plenty of obstacles and is unlikely to accomplish anything within schedule. This goes the same for any premises like your home, bedroom etc. When you have De-Cluttered all that is necessary, you would have already won half the battle in having your Fengshui realized.
Crystals And Natural Minerals
Crystals and all other natural minerals are efficient cures as well as wonderful house decor. There are many different crystal specimens on our planet and each one reacts differently. I would recommend the book "Love is In the Earth" by Melody. This book has most of the natural minerals/quartz identified; it also gives an account of the attributes of each mineral.
Crystals are most welcome especially when we're now in the Earth Period which is Period 8. Placed correctly at their respective sectors can bring immense results especially Fengshui items carved out professionally from them. The results of the carved item must hold a significant and it must look solid and well composed. These can be quite costly but you are paying for the best and its well worth it.
Always select a crystal or natural mineral yourself; this is because not all of them have an affinity with you. It is therefore important to pick one that you like even if it may not look appeasing to others. However, you have to remember that a Geode broken in half and sealed/repaired is not a good sign. A Geode should be wholesome and not broken. If you should buy pieces then it is better to buy those which are meant to be sold in pieces. A Geode represents mountain and if used in your mountain star it should be bold and solid and in one piece.
Gemstones
Not every Gemstone is suitable for us, it is like crystals. It is better to check your horoscope with a professional and your elements etc before buying one. Even after professional advice has been given, you would still need to monitor the stone which you are wearing. Normally if the stone is suitable for your wearing, you would experience good luck and smooth sailing otherwise it would be vice versa.
Personally, I do not recommend wearing a synthetic Gemstone, it does not have the attributes of a natural Gemstone thus may have negative effects. If you are uncertain whether your Gemstone is authentic, get a GIA or any certified Gemologist to verify your stone.
All Gemstones or crystals being affected by body heat or natural outdoor heat can have effect on your stone/crystals. They can fade in color or loose its luster, these are natural facts and are not because the stone you're wearing is not authentic. It is therefore good to take note that you look after all your crystals and gemstones properly.
Crystals Maintenance
When you first bring back any new crystals, make sure that these crystals can be salt bathed. Not all crystals or natural mineral can be washed; you may have a terrible experience if you take chances, so ask your supplier before you do anything to it.
Crystals like Rose quartz or clear quartz etc should be rinsed and then soak in crude salt water or better still sea water for a day. After which it should be rinse clean with fresh water and then put out in the sun to be baked for at least three hours. This process is called crystal cleansing and de-data. Once this process has been completed, you only need to rinse your crystals with fresh running water once in a while or when dust is being accumulated. Unless very necessary, there is no need to salt bath your crystals that often.
